The Heist Awards

It's 18 years since the first Heist Award was made. In that time we've seen a huge change in the marketing expertise our universities and colleges now deliver. From the smallest regional college to the largest global education brands, the professionalism now displayed by institutions is clearly something of which the sector can be truly proud.

The beginning of the Awards was tentative - Heist offered an Award for Best Polytechnic Prospectus in 1988. Since then, the Heist Awards programme has grown to reflect the breadth and depth of marketing activities now undertaken by universities and colleges throughout the world, and we're delighted that this year the entries have increased by over 15% with the number of institutions entering now well over one hundred.

The Heist Awards programme celebrates excellence in education marketing and is held in high esteem across the sector. This year, in addition to Awards for prospectuses, websites, campaigns and communications programmes, we are again making an Award for overall excellence in the eyes of the key market - The Students' Choice. This has been conceived to allow institutions' key customers, students, to consider all nominated entries through a student panel.

We hope that, like us, having gone through all the hard work and angst, you've enjoyed the evening and will look forward to an even bigger event next year.
