
George Priestley OBE

George is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and current President of the Grand Opera House in Belfast. His career spans 45 years in the marketing sector and he founded Old Mill Marketing in 1971. George is a visiting professor in Marketing at the University of Ulster, Liveryman of the Worship Company of Marketers, a Freeman of the City of London and a board member of the Laganside Corporation.
Andy Fryer

Andy has worked to develop effective communications and positive PR in the HE sector throughout his career. He joined the Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA) in October 2005 as Communications Officer, responsible for developing and delivering an effective external relations strategy. During this time he has helped revitalise UCEA's services to it's members - over 165 UK universities and higher education colleges which make up the sector.
Jean Lawton

Jean has been Head of Communications at the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education for five years. Previously she worked in corporate communications and electronic publishing, for Reed Elsevier plc and BT.
Bruce Bernstein

Bruce has been working with educational institutions for 20 years. He began his career at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, first as Associate Director for Admissions in charge of communications and recruitment publications, then as Director of the MIT Publishing Services Bureau and finally as Director of the Educational Council, the Institute's largest alumni volunteer organisation. Bruce moved to the UK in 2002 to take the post of CASE Europe's Director of Business Development, overseeing member services and educational and commercial partnerships.
Virginia Issac

Formerly Director of Marketing and Communications, Virginia has recently been made Director of Business Development of key UCAS initiatives and contracts and new business streams including the new Postgraduate Admissions and Statistics Service (UKPASS) and the forthcoming UniStats website service for HEFCE.

Jessica has worked for the CIPR for eight years, focusing on media relations, corporate communications and marketing. Prior to this, Jessica worked in a number of business development, marketing and event management roles. Jessica holds both the CIPR Diploma in Public Relations and the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in Marketing and is a CIPR Accredited Practitioner.
