Robert Horne has announced that its popular Revive Special Silk and Revive 75* brands will be Carbon Neutral®, in addition to being FSC certified and containing either 30% or 75% recovered fibre. The development means that users of Revive can now choose a paper option that minimises contribution to climate change.

The paper merchant has worked with the manufacturer, Aconda, and the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Management to understand the carbon footprint of the two brands. The thorough evaluation process identified emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases created by the sourcing of raw materials, manufacturing and transportation. It is thought that the approach adopted by Robert Horne could be the blueprint for establishing the carbon footprint of all paper grades.
