After a long and detailed debate the judges agreed that the Derby site was their preferred choice. The strong call to action supplemented by the clear objectives detailed in the entry submission were recognised by judges, as was the entry narrative which explained the scenario for the site. Judges commented that the use of features on the site - for example earthquake investigation - was an excellent hook that immediately secured browsers' interest.
